  38.     This command can be accessed from an image menubar as 
  39.     <span class="guimenu">File</span>-><span class="guimenuitem">Save as Template...</span>.
  40.     It does not have a default shortcut.

  43.     "Save as Template" creates a template with the same dimensions
  44.     and colorspace as the image.  A dialog pops up asking you to name the new
  45.     template, after which it is saved so that it becomes available
  46.     in the <a href="ch05s02.html#gimp-file-new" title="2.1.┬áNew">New Image</a>
  47.     dialog.  If you give a name that already exists, a unique name
  48.     is generated by appending a number to it.  You can use the Templates dialog
  49.     to modify or delete templates.
